Birkenhead BAFF Wash Plant Control System Upgrades

Validate and optimise the BAFF Backwash sequences for 8 cells at the Birkenhead Waste Water Treatment Works in the UK. Addition of Inlet pump to increase flow through capacity. PID tuning for Heat Exchange valves for optimum performance and run step change trials. Modify SCADA and PLC systems for status, control and trending. An assortment of other modifications were made to rectify outstanding maintenance issues especially with the Allen Bradley DH+ industrial network.
