History

In 1992 the company IAT Systems Ltd was incorporated to deliver Control and Automation Systems engineering services for performing arts theatres.  We delivered our expertise to clients in Hong Kong and several cities in China. In 2 years we had built 4 theatres and had a very satisfied client and end users.  We built on this success and applied ourselves in the automotive industry primarily in delivering control systems for automated paint booths for full paint line automation including paint robots, reciprocators, under-body wax and paint mix room systems.  We successfully commissioned up plants in the UK including Nissan, Ford, Rover and Peugeot and Saipa Kia Motors in Iran and Autouropa in Portugal.  We also diversified by providing integrated control systems into Breweries and Bakeries.

In 2001 we re-branded our company to Abalto Technologies Ltd continuing projects in Automotive and targeting the Water and Waste Water industries in the UK.  We successfully delivered projects of a diverse nature ranging from trouble shooting and small modifications to systems for full plant automation and control.  We worked with Purac to deliver 2 large 500MLD and 800MLD Water Treatment plants in China and several modifications to clean and waste water treatment works for Anglian Water, United Utilities and South West Water.

In 2003 additional equity partners were introduced and Abalto Ltd was formed with a resolution to provide our services in the Oil & Gas industry.  We were confident that we would deliver solutions with our highly developed project team.  We have successfully delivered our services to major projects including Perdido, Harweel and Saudi Kayan.

In 2009 we set our strategy to make the transition to Main Automation Contractor (MAC).  Abalto had been associated with the Automotive, Water and Oil & Gas industries for over 17 years and we now believed that the time was right to expand our operations to offer MAC projects delivery especially within Oil & Gas.

In 2011 we established a branch office in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman to serve our Middle East Customers.  we have sucessfully completed over 100 projects from this office in Oil & Gas predominatley working PDO projects.

Abalto now offers operating, maintenance, engineering and detail design, supply, construction, commissioning and start-up putting our wealth of experience to your advantage.  We have within the last 10 years becoming firmly established a tier one supplier to Oil & Gas and many other industries.

Abalto has now entered into new markets including Pakistan and Algeria to offer its services.  Our aim is to leverage our existing capabilities by extending to conduct projects in these countries.
